Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement

International Journal of Biomedical Soft Computing and Human Sciences (IJBSCHS) is committed to guarantee of publication ethics and quality of articles. Based on COPE Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and the Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers, it is necessary to conform to standards of ethical behaviors for all parties involved in the act of publication (the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer and the publisher), especially the following.

For authors

- 1)
- Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are their original work.

- 2)
- Authors must ensure that the manuscript has not previously been published or is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere.

- 3)
- All authors mentioned in the paper should have significantly contributed to the research.

- 4)
- Authors must participate in the peer review process.
-
- 5)
- Authors must ensure that all data in the paper are real and authentic and they have properly cited others’ work in accordance of the references format.

- 6)
- Authors must notify the editors of any conflicts of interest.

- 7)
- Authors are obliged to report corrections of mistakes at any point of time if the author(s) discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in the submitted manuscript.

For Editors

- 1)
- Editors should be responsible for the content and quality of every manuscript published in International Journal of Biomedical Soft Computing and Human Sciences.

- 2)
- Editors should evaluate the manuscript objectively for publication, without regard to nationality, ethnicity, race, religion, gender, or political philosophy of the authors.

- 3)
- Editors should not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone that is irrelevant.

- 4)
- Editors should ensure the document sent to the reviewer does not contain the information of the author, and also preserve the anonymity of reviewers.

- 5)
- Editors should ensure the timely processing of any manuscript and seek a fair and appropriate peer-review process.

- 6)
- Editors should decline dealing with the manuscript when there is a potential of conflict of interest.

- 7)
- Editors will be guided by COPE flowcharts if there is a suspected misconduct or disputed authorship.

- 8)
- Editors should guarantee the integrity of the academic record and ensure that all research materials they publish conform to internationally accepted ethical guidelines.

For Reviewers

- 1)
- Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents and should not be disclosed to a third party.

- 2)
- Reviews should be conducted objectively without personal criticism of the author.
-
- 3)
- Review comments should be submitted within the planning time after a review invitation is accepted. If reviewers cannot complete the work timely, they should notify the editorial office.

- 4)
- Reviewers should point out relevant published work which is not yet cited.
-
- 5)
- Reviewers should not review manuscripts in which there are potential conflicts of interest between them and any of the authors.

For Publisher

- 1)
- The publisher should take appropriate measures to prevent the occurrence of publication malpractice.

- 2)
- The publisher should support the publication in a timely manner.

The publisher is committed to the permanent availability and preservation of research and ensures accessibility by maintaining a digital archive.
